It’s time for TitansTracker.com to give some love to Kerry Michael Collins.
I will not mention the Titans backup quarterback today. Enjoy it while it lasts.
I wholeheartedly jumped on the Kerry Collins bandwagon last week after the Bears game. This week, I stand on the bandwagon and pump my fist in celebration of Collins’ comeback effort against the Jaguars.
Collins, affectionately known as “KC”, is one of this week’s finalists for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week. He competes with Indy’s Peyton Manning and the Cardinals’ Kurt Warner. Despite strong numbers from Warner, KC gets my vote this week. Click here to cast your vote.

Collins deserves props for starting three games early in the 2006 season after signing with the team at the end of training camp. He also deserves credit for his efficient play after unexpectedly being given the starting quarterback job for the Titans in 2008.
I hope Collins stays healthy and finishes the fine job he’s doing for the Titans.
